Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have[a] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ, through His blood on the cross, bound together / reconciled / harmonized those who were separated from God by their sin and who now by faith in Christ are bound to God again. This is justification.

The believing sinner now stands in the presence of God uncondemned and righteous in a righteousness which God accepts — The Lord Jesus.
